Arsenal vs Vorskla Poltava: Fans Reactions To Alex Iwobi’s Display Would Leave You Thrilled

Nigerian international, Alex Iwobi, is one of the top performer for the Gunner side that walloped Vorskla Poltava 4-2 in their opening match of the EUROPA League.
The skillful midfielder provided the assist for the opening goal by tearing apart  the away side’s defence with an incisive pass to Aubameyang, which was duly converted by the striker.
He began to torment the Vorskla’s defence from then on and fans are so happy with his display, that they took out time to react on social media.

See what they said:

A little reminder that my boy Iwobi came off to a standing ovation. MOTM 👏

Iwobi played well👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾, so much improvement!! Weldone son

The scoreline doesn’t do any justice to our dominant performance. Auba’s starting to find his feet again, Iwobi dropped a 10/10, Sokratis is an elite CB, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. We’ve kicked off Europe’s biggest competition in style. Bring on Everton. Goodnight!

The event, tagged ‘Seraph Youths Arise’, is billed to bring youths from different sections of the church to mingle together, share ideas and consider matters of common interest with a view to better their lot in the society.
Yomi-Sholoye In a release issued by Convener of the summit, Dr. Oluseye Yomi-Sholoye, she said the scheme was aimed at taking youths out of total dependence on stipends provided for them by their parents to becoming employers of labour. The statement read, “Many of our youths today lag behind their peers in the scheme of things in the society of which we Seraphs are a part.
“So, in order to correct this imbalance, there is need for aggressive youth empowerment programmes, scholarships to our youths from well-to-do Seraphs, vocational and skill acquisition trainings for them, donation of educational materials to those not so privileged among our youths. “When these are done, there will be creativity and innovations from the youths which, in turn, will advance the course of our church and its people.” The statement said that several notable artistes in the country as well as stand-up comedians have been invited to thrill participants at the event billed for 10 Degrees Event Centre, Oregun, IKeja, in Lagos State.

Kanye West Details Being Racially Profiled In 2000

TMZ has recently obtained Kanye West’s deposition in the case filed by the photographer he assaulted outside of Los Angeles International Airport in 2013. In the deposition, the Chicago rapper recalled being racially profiled in 2000 because of his appearance.
According to Kanye, who says he was a successful producer at the time of the incident, he was racially profiled when he was arrested and charged with stealing printers from an OfficeMax well over a decade ago.
He explained that he was seen as a target due to the fact that he was wearing braids and a white t-shirt, and added that authorities may have even altered their write-up on the incident to frame him.
"I was racially profiled for having a white T-shirt and braids…I was driving a white Ford Expedition. When I saw the police report, they crossed out where it said 'Cream Ford Explorer,'" Kanye West said in the deposition, according to TMZ.
Later in the deposition, Kanye’s lawyer, Shawn Holley stated that the incident was a case of “mistaken identity.”

T.I. Says He Didn’t Feel Comfortable Sampling Jay Z On “Bring Em Out”

While discussing the lead single “Bring Em Out” off his third studio album Urban Legend,T.I. recalls feeling uncomfortable regarding the Jay Z sample used by producer Swizz Beatz on the cut.
During an interview with XXL’s Dan Rys, T.I. recollects not wanting to simply take somebody else’s voice without their clear permission.
“I remember I didn’t want to make it because it had a Jay Z sample [from “What More Can I Say”] and I was like, ‘Have y’all cleared this with dude?’ I just didn’t ever want to just take somebody’s voice,” T.I. recalls. “You know, this was the beginning of when that was made popular. This was the very beginning of when people started sampling other people’s voices and taking pieces of other people’s verses and putting them in hooks. Before then I think nobody but Premier was doing it.”
T.I. also remembers likening the situation to when Jay Z sampled Nas' voice on “Dead Presidents.” The Atlanta native says he was wary because of the subsequent issues that broke out between the two rappers following the aforementioned Reasonable Doubt cut.
“[Jay sampling Nas on 'Dead Presidents'] was more underground hip-hop popular,” T.I. adds. “If you recognize, the biggest problem that everybody has with Reasonable Doubt is that it never reached a true commercial success the way it should have, you know what I’m saying? When he did it, it was popular underground, and those of us who really loved hip-hop [loved it]. But on the [charts] it was never that. So that fad, that approach to music, never caught on until after this. And I was uncomfortable with it, kinda because of the way that situation played out; Jay used Nas’ voice for that record, Nas had something to say about it and then it turned into [the beef].
“So at that point I was like, ‘Hey, wait a minute. How does dude feel about me using his voice? I don’t know if I need that,’” T.I. continues. “And [Swizz Beatz] was like, ‘Man, listen. Let me deal with Jay. You just record the song.’ So I went on and did the song and it was one of my biggest hits up until that point.”
Elsewhere, T.I. spoke about the record’s widespread usage, calling it “flattering.”
“I don’t know if I ever heard it at a game, so to speak,” T.I. says. “I mean, I know it’s been licensed and used for so much, it’s definitely flattering. I don’t know if I have any added feeling because it’s at a sports arena, you know what I mean? I know a lot of comedians and a lot of people who come out on stage and have to be introduced, they step out to it. Which is cool, man. Whatever people see fit to use it for, man, except for balancing the coffee table.”

I felt like sharing this..

I dreamed I had an interview with God. "Come in," God said. "So, you would like to interview Me?"

"If you have the time," I said.

God smiled and said: "My time is eternity and is enough to do everything; What questions do you have in mind to ask Me?"

"What surprises you most about mankind?"

God answered:

"That they get bored of being children, are in a rush to grow up, and then long to be children again."

"That they lose their health to make money and then lose their money to restore their health."

"That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live neither for the present nor the future."

"That they live as if they will never die, and they die as if they had never lived."

God's hands took mine and we were silent for awhile and then I asked...

"As a parent, what are some of life's lessons you want your children to learn?"

God replied with a smile:

"To learn that they cannot make anyone love them. What they can do is to let themselves beloved."

"To learn that what is most valuable is not what they have in their lives, but who they have in their lives."

"To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others. All will be judged individually on their own merits, not as a group on a comparison basis!"

"To learn that a rich person is not the one who has the most, but is one who needs the least."

"To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in persons we love, and that it takes many years to heal them."

"To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness."

"To learn that there are persons that love them dearly, but simply do not know how to express or show their feelings."

"To learn that money can buy everything but happiness."

"To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it totally different."

"To learn that a true friend is someone who knows everything about them...and likes them anyway."

"To learn that it is not always enough that they be forgiven by others, but that they have to forgive themselves."

I sat there for awhile enjoying the moment. I thanked Him for His time and for all that He has done for me and my family, and He replied, "Anytime. I'm here 24 hours a day. All you have to do is ask for Me, and I'll answer."
